Quick answer

The most original Christmas gifts in Cyprus are experiences: a spa day such as the Med Spa Day at the Mediterranean Beach Hotel in Limassol (about €149, 2026), a Four Seasons Limassol gift card (€100–€500, no expiry) that also pays for dinner at the award-winning Sera, a round of golf at Minthis (about €100–€137 for 18 holes), a sailing course at Limassol Nautical Club, a PADI course with Alpha Divers in Larnaca, or a pottery class at Art by the Sea in Chloraka. For food lovers, add a bottle of Commandaria (about €20, 2026) or a wine tasting at the Cyprus Wine Museum in Erimi.

  • Four Seasons Limassol gift cards come in €100–€500 values, never expire and cover the spa, restaurants (except the €300 card) and stays.
  • Limassol spa days: Mediterranean Beach Hotel about €149 per person (2026); Crowne Plaza Limassol about €115 (2026), with spa vouchers from €25 to €500 sold online.
  • Cyprus has no MICHELIN Guide restaurant selection; for a special dinner, look to the WiZ 50 Best list (January 2026) and the Cyprus Eating Awards (February 2026).
  • Sporty gifts with published prices: Minthis green fees about €100–€137 and 45-minute lessons about €75; a 30-minute riding lesson at Aphrodite Hills about €40; an introductory sailing course at Limassol Nautical Club about €90 (2026).
  • Creative gifts: adult pottery classes and gift cards at Art by the Sea in Chloraka, Paint a Pot at The Makers Space in Tala, and a perfume-making tour at the Cyprus Perfumery Theme Park near Flasou.

A present they can unwrap lasts until Boxing Day; a morning at the potter's wheel or a long dinner lasts much longer. Cyprus is good for experience gifts because most of them run all winter, and many hotels and studios sell vouchers you can tuck into a card. Below are ideas by type, each with the provider, the town, what's included, the price where it is published, and how to buy it.

Last checked: 5 November 2026. Prices are those published by each provider on that date; book or buy early, as December weekends fill up.

Before you buy: three quick tips

  1. Ask for a voucher, not a date. Where a provider doesn't sell vouchers, buy the experience and let the person choose the day, or print the booking details in a card.
  2. Check validity. Four Seasons cards never expire; Parklane's voucher lasts 12 months. Ask before you pay.
  3. Mind the season. Diving and sailing run in winter, but a lesson may move if the weather turns, so ask about rebooking.

If you'd rather give something to unwrap, see our luxury Christmas gifts guide and our Christmas hampers guide.

For food and wine lovers

A great bottle of Cypriot wine or Commandaria

The easiest gift in this list, and still one of the best. A 500 ml KEO St John Commandaria costs about €20 (2026), and serious bottles go much higher. Punin Wine in Germasogeia, Limassol, delivers across the island, and Nektar Wine Shop on Thessalonikis Street in Limassol sells gift vouchers of €20, €30, €50 and €100, ideal if you don't know their taste. Our guides to where to buy wine and gift sets and the best Cypriot wines and Commandaria for Christmas help you choose.

A dinner at an award-winning restaurant

Cyprus has no MICHELIN Guide restaurant selection, so the lists to follow are the WiZ 50 Best (announced in January 2026) and the Cyprus Eating Awards (February 2026).

  • Sera by Ettore BotriniFour Seasons, Limassol: Best Hotel Restaurant at the Cyprus Eating Awards 2026. The simplest way to give it is a Four Seasons gift card (€100 to €500, no expiry), which can be spent in the hotel's restaurants; the €300 card's terms list bars only, so choose another value for dinner.
  • Cor GastronomyAmathus Avenue, Limassol: eight- and ten-course tasting menus; second on the WiZ 50 Best and Best Mediterranean Cuisine at the Cyprus Eating Awards.
  • The Polo at the Alasia hotel, Limassol: degustation menus and number one on the WiZ 50 Best. Book on 25 332000.
  • RousAgioi Omologites, Nicosia: tasting menu and a Chef's Table, open Tuesday to Saturday evenings and Sunday lunch. Book on 22 760720.
  • To PatrikonTersefanou, near Larnaca: a five- or six-course Cypriot tasting menu on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday lunchtime. Book on 99 870998.

None of the last four restaurants advertises gift vouchers online, so call and ask; otherwise, book a table and give the date in a card. For a hotel dinner, Parklane in Limassol sells a €100 voucher for The Gallery restaurant by email, valid for 12 months; the table must be booked at least seven days ahead on 25 862000.

A wine tasting

  • Cyprus Wine Museum, 42 Pafos Street, Erimi (Limassol): tastings with Commandaria and zivania from about €15 (2026), open daily 09:00–17:00 except public holidays.
  • The Oak Tree Wine Cellar & Tasting Room, Larnaca old town: a 90-minute tasting of ten Cypriot wines and a liqueur, focused on small producers.
  • Zambartas Wineries, Agios Amvrosios (Limassol hills): several tasting experiences, daily 10:00–17:00, preferably by appointment on +357 25 942424.

Ask each one whether it can issue a voucher; otherwise book for a weekday and arrange a taxi, as drink-driving limits are enforced.

A traditional food workshop

The Cyprus Food and Nutrition Museum runs hands-on workshops in villages around the island. Its November 2026 programme includes village bread making, soutzioukos, trahanas, homemade yoghurt and the olive harvest, and it runs traditional cooking classes for foreigners. Prices are not published; contact the museum on cyfoodmuseum@gmail.com or +357 99295150.

An olive oil visit

Oleastro Olive Park near Anogyra (Limassol district) works its mill from mid-October to February and has an olive museum and shop; there is a small entry fee. Pair a visit with a tin of its organic oil. Our olive harvest guide has more mills.

  • Mediterranean Beach Hotel, Limassol: the Med Spa Day at the Aquum Health Spa costs about €149 per person or €279 for a couple (2026). Gift vouchers are sold at the spa reception.
