Expatify is an online platform for people moving to or living in Cyprus. It offers local information, resources and a directory of businesses serving the Cyprus expat community. Our services target individuals living in or moving to Cyprus.

2. What Personal Data We Collect

The data we collect depends on how you use the site.

a) When you browse the site

  • Device information: IP address, browser type and operating system.
  • Usage data: pages visited, links clicked and time spent on each page. This helps us improve performance and relevance.

b) When you subscribe to our newsletter

  • Your name, which is optional.
  • Your email address, used to send relevant updates. You can unsubscribe at any time, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.

c) When you submit a business listing

  • Business name and details.
  • Your contact name and email.
  • Any text, images or documents you upload.

Only what is needed is shown publicly. Your personal contact details stay private unless you ask for them to be displayed.

d) When you contact us

  • Your name, email and message contents.

This is used only to answer your enquiry, not for marketing, unless you have asked to join the newsletter.

Our security measures include HTTPS encryption, firewalls and secure hosting. No online system is completely secure, so please be careful when sharing data online. If a data breach occurs, we will inform affected users and the authorities within 72 hours, as required by law.

Our site links to other websites, especially in the directory. We are not responsible for how those sites handle data, so please check their privacy policies before use.
