Quick answer

In Cyprus you can order a ready-made Christmas hamper online from Gift Hampers Cyprus, which delivers free to the main towns, or from shops such as Yolanda's Chocolatiers in Nicosia and Aura in Paralimni, or build your own from Cypriot producers like Aphrodite Delights in Geroskipou and the Rose Factory in Agros. Family in the UK can send a hamper through the British Hamper Company, whose 2026 EU hampers start at about £92 with the earliest delivery from 13 November, but since 1 July 2026 parcels from the UK pay VAT and a €3 duty per item type.

  • Gift Hampers Cyprus sells food, wine, spirits, chocolate and gluten-free hampers online, with free delivery to Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and other major towns.
  • Aura in Paralimni makes candle and soap hampers by hand, from about €23 to €100 (2026), with ACS delivery at €3.99 to a pickup point or €5.99 to the door, free over €50.
  • The British Hamper Company's EU hampers for 2026 cost from about £92 to £238 including tracked delivery to Cyprus, with the earliest delivery dates from 13, 23 or 27 November.
  • Since 1 July 2026, a hamper sent from the UK pays Cypriot VAT plus a €3 customs duty per item type; only gifts between private people worth up to €45 are exempt.
  • None of the Cypriot hamper shops we checked had published a Christmas 2026 order deadline on 5 November 2026; order by early December to be safe.

We're adding each shop's 2026 Christmas order and delivery deadlines to this guide as they're published. Leave your email and we'll send you the updated guide.

A Christmas hamper is the easy answer for neighbours, teachers, hosts and family abroad, and in Cyprus you have two ways to do it: order a ready-made basket for delivery, or build your own from the island's producers, delis and markets. This guide covers both, with what each shop sells, what it costs where we could confirm it, and how to get a hamper to Cyprus from the UK.

Last checked: 5 November 2026. None of the Cypriot shops below had published a Christmas 2026 order deadline when we checked. We will add deadlines as they appear; until then, aim to order by the first week of December.

Ready-made hampers with delivery

Gift Hampers Cyprus (online only). Luxury food and wine hampers, spirits hampers, chocolate hampers and gluten-free hampers, with names such as Divine Feast, Luxury Banquet and Champagne Treats. Delivery is free to Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and other major towns. Prices are not shown on the home page and no shop address is published, so ask for a quote. Tip: say which day someone will be home, as hampers are too big for most letterboxes and pickup points.

Yolanda's Chocolatiers, Dimostheni Severi Avenue 21AB, Nicosia. A chocolatier with Christmas, hamper, chocolate-and-wine and vegan ranges, also on Wolt for delivery in Nicosia. Its Halloween box of 16 bonbons was about €30 (2026), which gives you the price level. Hours on Wolt are Monday to Friday 09:00–18:30 and Saturday 10:00–17:30. Tip: chocolate does not like a hot car; collect it last.

Wine and More, four shops: 28th October Avenue 52, Engomi (Nicosia); Archiepiskopou Makariou III 16C (Larnaca); Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue 17, Germasogeia (Limassol); and Tombs of the Kings Avenue 8 (Paphos). Trading since 2010, it has a gifts and hampers range of about 80 items mixing wine, spirits and gourmet food, with free delivery on orders over €70. Tip: ask the shop to swap the wine for a non-alcoholic option for teachers or colleagues. For choosing the bottle itself, see our Cypriot wines and Commandaria guide.

Aura (Auras Workshop), Ayiou Dimitriou 105, Paralimni. Not food: hampers of candles, soaps, bath salts and small keepsakes, hand-poured and packed in its Paralimni workshop, from about €23 to €100 (2026). ACS delivery costs €3.99 to a pickup point or €5.99 to your door, free on orders over €50, and click-and-collect orders are usually ready in about two hours. The shop's listed hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 09:00–17:00. Tip: many of its hampers sell out, so order early.

Build your own from Cypriot producers

A home-made hamper of local products usually costs less than a ready-made one and says more about where you live. Pick a basket or box and fill it from these:

  • Aphrodite DelightsMakariou Avenue 57, opposite Geroskipou Square (Paphos), phone 26 962212. The loukoumi maker sells Loukoumi Geroskipou, a protected geographical indication in the EU, plus almond koufeta and Paphos gum. Tip: boxed loukoumi keeps for weeks and travels well, so it suits hampers going abroad.
  • The Rose Factory (Venus Rose)Agros. Run by the Tsolakis family since 1948, it sells rosewater, rose liqueur, rose jam, rose tea, chocolates and cosmetics, and is open all year. Tip: Agros is also one of the nine Christmas Villages from 21 November, so go on a festive weekend.
  • Christmas sweets. Every bakery sells melomakarona and kourabiedes from early December. In December 2024 Zorbas charged €11.95 a kilo, the cheapest of 20 shops checked, with patisseries in Limassol at about €18–19. Pack them in a tin, not a bag.
  • VetrinaThe Landmark Nicosia. The deli that opened in March 2026 sells olive oils, wine, cured meats, cheeses and fresh pasta, good for a cheese-and-deli hamper you hand over the same day.

For more ideas of what to put in, see our Christmas gifts from Cyprus guide, which lists what keeps, what travels and which producers to visit.

By district: where to fill a hamper

Nicosia

Yolanda's Chocolatiers for chocolate, Wine and More in Engomi for a ready basket, Vetrina at The Landmark for deli items, and the Central Municipal Market, busiest on Saturdays, for halloumi, olives, herbal teas and homemade bread. The Mall of Cyprus Christmas Market (weekends from 21 November, then daily 21–31 December except 25 and 26 December, 11:00–18:00) has local makers selling handmade gifts and festive treats.

Limassol

Wine and More in Germasogeia, the Limassol Agora in the old town for a bakery, deli and fruit stalls, and the hill villages for producers. Agros, about an hour away, is the trip for rose products; Lofou, the nearest Christmas Village, is about 30 minutes away.

Larnaca

Wine and More on Makariou Avenue and the municipal market in the city centre, which opened in March 2023 with 20 shops. Lefkara, about 40 minutes away, adds lace and silver for a non-food hamper.

Paphos

Aphrodite Delights in Geroskipou is the essential stop, and Wine and More on Tombs of the Kings Avenue covers bottles and gift baskets. Statos-Agios Fotios, the district's Christmas Village, has stalls of local produce from 21 November.

Famagusta district

Aura in Paralimni for candle and soap hampers, and Deryneia, the strawberry village and the district's Christmas Village, for local stalls.

Supermarkets and the festive table

We could not confirm ready-made supermarket hampers for 2026, but the supermarkets' Christmas ranges are an easy way to fill one. Alphamega has a Christmas section in its online shop, with free delivery on orders over €100 or click and collect, and Lidl sells its seasonal Deluxe range in December, which is where you find stollen, panettone-style cakes and continental treats. For the full festive food shop, see our Christmas shopping guide and our supermarkets guide.

Sending a hamper to Cyprus from the UK

Family in Britain often ask what to send. The British Hamper Company, based in Lincolnshire with a European delivery hub, has a range for EU delivery with prices that include tracked express delivery to Cyprus:

Hamper (2026) Price Earliest delivery
Great Taste Award Artisan Food Hamper about £92 13 November
Christmas Treats Hamper about £98 23 November
Superior Traditional Hamper about £104 13 November
British Christmas Food Hamper about £140 23 November
Gourmet Festive Family Hamper about £238 27 November

The site shows prices in pounds and can switch to euros. The company does not send hampers with alcohol outside the UK, so choose from its alcohol-free EU range.

The catch is customs. Since 1 July 2026, parcels from outside the EU, including the UK, no longer enter duty-free: a temporary €3 customs duty applies per item type until 1 July 2028, and Cypriot VAT is charged on the total. Gifts from one private person to another are exempt only up to €45, so a typical hamper will pay something, and the recipient may be asked to pay before delivery. Our guide to parcels and customs explains how. Tip: a hamper ordered from a Cypriot shop avoids all of this.

Order deadlines and delivery tips

  • Order by early December. No Cypriot shop we checked had a published 2026 cut-off, and couriers slow down in the last two weeks.
  • Nothing moves on 25 and 26 December. Shops close by 18:00 on 24 December, and in 2025 they were shut on 25 and 26 December.
  • Give a phone number. Couriers often call before they deliver, so include the recipient's mobile.
  • Keep fresh food separate. Halloumi, cheese and cured meats belong in a hamper you hand over yourself, not one that sits in a depot.
  • Taking a hamper to the UK? Meat and dairy are banned in personal luggage; see our Christmas gifts from Cyprus guide for what is allowed.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I order a Christmas hamper in Cyprus?

Online from Gift Hampers Cyprus, which delivers free to the main towns; from Yolanda's Chocolatiers in Nicosia, which has Christmas and hamper ranges; from Wine and More's four shops, which sell gifts and hampers; or from Aura in Paralimni for handmade candle and soap hampers.

Can I send a Christmas hamper to Cyprus from the UK?

Yes. The British Hamper Company delivers EU hampers to Cyprus by tracked courier, from about £92 in 2026, but alcohol-free hampers are the usual choice outside the UK. Since 1 July 2026, the recipient may pay Cypriot VAT and a €3 duty per item type.

When should I order a Christmas hamper in Cyprus?

By the first week of December. No Cypriot hamper shop we checked had published a 2026 deadline, couriers get busy in December and nothing is delivered on 25 and 26 December.

What goes in a Cypriot Christmas hamper?

Good choices are Geroskipou loukoumi and koufeta, Agros rose products, local honey, olive oil, carob syrup, spoon sweets, melomakarona or kourabiedes, a bottle of Commandaria and a Cypriot cheese or cured meat if it will be eaten within a few days.

Can I make my own hamper in Cyprus?

Yes, and it is often better value. Buy a basket or box, then fill it at a producer's shop, a municipal market, a deli or a supermarket's Christmas range. Keep fresh cheese and meat out unless you hand it over the same day.
