What is Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort?

Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort is a five-star beachfront resort at Cape Agios Georgios (St George) in Peyia, on the western edge of the Paphos district. It opened in 2022 and is the flagship of Korantina Homes, a Paphos-based developer. In spring 2026 it hosted the FIDE Candidates Tournament, one of the biggest events in world chess.

The resort combines a hotel, restaurants, sports facilities, shops and privately owned villas on one site, with views over the sea towards the Akamas.

Where is it and how do you get there?

The address is 3 Maniki Street, 8570 Agios Georgios Pegeia. From Paphos, drive north along the coast road through Coral Bay and past the Sea Caves, then follow signs for Agios Georgios. Allow around 25 minutes from Paphos town and around 40 minutes from Paphos airport.

A car is the practical option: public transport to this stretch of coast is limited. See our public transport guide for what is available.

What are the rooms like?

The hotel has 202 rooms and suites, all facing the sea. Options range from standard rooms to family and interconnecting suites, plus two signature options:

  • Nisyros Signature Adults Only Pool Villa, for couples wanting privacy
  • Akamas Presidential Suite, the resort's top accommodation

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is at 12:00. Book through the resort's website or a travel agent, and look out for seasonal offers, which in 2026 included family packages.

What is the spa like?

The Cleopatra Spa covers about 2,585 m², one of the largest spa areas in Cyprus. Facilities include a hammam, a Russian banya, saunas, steam rooms and indoor spa pools, plus massages, facials and body treatments. The resort sells spa day packages, which can be a good way for residents to use the facilities without staying overnight; check the website for what is included and any age limits.

Where can you eat and drink?

There are around ten restaurants and bars. The resort says non-hotel guests are welcome to dine, and it recommends booking, especially in summer.

Who does Cap St Georges suit?

  • Families who want everything on site, from kids club to pools.
  • Couples looking for a spa break or an adults-only pool villa.
  • Residents wanting a special-occasion dinner, a spa day or a weekend staycation without flying.

It is less suited to anyone wanting a lively town on foot: the nearest shops and tavernas outside the resort are in Peyia and Coral Bay, a short drive away.

Can you buy a villa at Cap St Georges?

Korantina Homes, established in 1990 and based in Peyia, markets Cap St Georges Villas: contemporary seafront villas within the resort, designed to step down the slope so that each has a sea view, with features such as private pools. The company has announced a second phase with around 200 more villas and community facilities.
