Indoor Soft Play and Playgrounds for Kids in Cyprus, City by City

Child playing in a ball pit at an indoor playground

Quick answer

Every city in Cyprus has at least one indoor play centre, which is a lifesaver on scorching summer afternoons and wet winter weekends. Nicosia has the most choice, including Play4Kidz, Extreme Park and the ARC trampoline arena. Limassol has Bubble Park, PlayPlanet at My Mall and PlayLounge at Limassol Agora. Larnaca has Fun Factory and Booba Boom, Paphos has Playland, Little Den Playroom and Cosmic World, and on the east coast Play4All in Paralimni combines soft play with bowling.

  • Nicosia has the widest choice, from big centres such as Play4Kidz and Extreme Park to café-playrooms and the ARC trampoline arena in Paliometocho.
  • In Limassol, Bubble Park has indoor play plus outdoor trampolines and inflatables; PlayPlanet at My Mall and PlayLounge at Limassol Agora are good mall options.
  • Larnaca's main indoor playgrounds are Fun Factory on Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue and Booba Boom in Aradippou.
  • Paphos has Playland, Little Den Playroom for under-sixes, Cosmic World and Ithaki in Coral Bay; Paralimni has Play4All.
  • Most centres ask children to wear socks, and many close on one weekday, so check hours before you set off.

From June to September the midday sun makes outdoor playgrounds in Cyprus almost unusable, and in winter a few days of heavy rain can leave children climbing the walls. That is when an indoor play centre earns its keep. Every city on the island has at least one, usually with a café so parents can sit down with a coffee.

Here are the best indoor soft play centres, indoor playgrounds and trampoline parks for kids in Cyprus, city by city.

Where are the best indoor playgrounds in Nicosia?

The capital has the widest choice on the island. Our family-friendly activities in Nicosia guide covers the big names in more detail, so here is a quick round-up.

  • Play4Kidz, Strovolos: One of the largest indoor play centres in Cyprus, on Limassol Avenue, aimed at children from about two to eleven. It has a restaurant and café, and runs a summer holiday programme.
  • Extreme Park, Strovolos: Two indoor play levels, one for toddlers and young children and one for older kids, with a climbing wall and trampolines used in safety harnesses. Good for mixed ages.
  • ARC, Paliometocho: The island's main trampoline venue, with indoor and outdoor trampoline arenas, a toddler area, a VR arcade and a café-bar. Children under and over seven have separate areas. Book a slot at weekends.
  • Space Kids, Aglantzia: A supervised indoor playground on Kyrenia Avenue for ages two to eight, with trampolines, slides, ball pits and a restaurant for parents.
  • Splash Coffee & Play, Aglantzia: A café on Larnakos Avenue with a two-storey indoor play area and an outdoor grassy area, supervised by staff.
  • Numero 5 Playland, Egkomi: A smaller, budget-friendly indoor play café, handy for playdates and rainy afternoons. It is closed on Mondays.
  • Wonderland City: A large inflatable park with obstacle courses, a toddler zone and a "human football" arena, suitable from toddlers to young teens.

Both the Mall of Cyprus and Nicosia Mall also have children's play areas, useful if you are shopping anyway.

What indoor play is there in Limassol?

  • Bubble Park: Near Limassol Marina, one of the best-known play centres in the city. Inside there are slides, soft play and a toddler zone, and outside there are trampolines, inflatables, a zip line and bumper bikes, with a café in the middle so you can see everyone. Some extras are paid separately.
  • PlayPlanet, My Mall: In My Mall on Franklin Roosevelt Avenue, west of the centre. A themed soft-play structure for ages three to ten, plus bowling and an arcade for older children, all under one roof. See our Zakaki area guide.
  • PlayLounge, Limassol Agora: A supervised indoor play area in the Agora shopping centre near Saripolou Square, suited to babies and children up to about ten, with a café-lounge for parents. It sometimes hosts children's shows at weekends.

Where can kids play indoors in Larnaca?

  • Fun Factory: On Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue, Larnaca's main indoor playground. It has a multi-level soft-play frame, trampolines, ball pools, slides and toddler areas, plus a café and party rooms. Socks are compulsory, and weekends can be noisy.
  • Booba Boom, Aradippou: An indoor play centre for children up to about ten, convenient for families on the north side of town. See our Aradippou area guide.
  • Food Park City, Mackenzie: A beachfront café with a children's play area, so parents can eat while little ones play. Handy after a morning on the beach.

  • Toy Town, Geroskipou: A role-play town for children opposite Sklavenitis, with themed rooms where kids can be shopkeepers, vets, chefs or firefighters, a sensory area for babies and toddlers, and a café for parents.
  • Little Den Playroom, Kato Paphos: A small, calm soft-play room for babies and children up to six, with a relaxed corner for parents. It closes for a break in the early afternoon.
  • Cosmic World, Apostolou Pavlou Avenue: Bowling, arcade games and play for mixed ages, good for older siblings and birthday groups.
  • Ithaki Amusement Park, Coral Bay: Mostly outdoors, with mini golf, bumper cars and rides, but it also has an indoor playground with slides and ball pits. Handy if you live in Pegeia.

What about Ayia Napa, Protaras and Paralimni?

  • Play4All, Paralimni: Bowling lanes plus an indoor soft-play area with ball pits and climbing frames, an outdoor playground and trampoline, and a bar serving burgers and snacks. It is closed on Tuesdays. See our Paralimni area guide.

Practical tips

  1. Pack socks: Almost every centre asks children to wear socks in the play area, and some sell them at the door. Grip socks are often required on trampolines.
  2. Check the day off: Many smaller centres close one weekday, usually Monday or Tuesday, and hours change in summer and school holidays.
  3. Watch out for private parties: Weekend afternoons are prime birthday time, and some centres close all or part of the space for parties. Call or check social media before you go.
  4. Ask about supervision: Some centres have staff watching the children, others expect a parent to stay. Ask before you settle in with a coffee.
  5. Go early on hot days: In July and August, indoor centres fill up after lunch as families escape the heat. Mornings are calmer.
  6. Check prices on the day: Most charge per child for a timed session, with food and drinks extra. Prices change, so ask at the desk or check the centre's website.
