What is the difference between a community and a private nursery?
Community nurseries are run by non-profit bodies such as local councils, charities and associations; private nurseries are run as businesses. Both are on the register of nurseries approved by the Social Welfare Services. Ask each nursery directly about fees, ages accepted and places.

From the register of approved nurseries (community and private) published by the Social Welfare Services on data.gov.cy, the Cyprus government's open data portal, in the file of 15 September 2025. We put names and addresses into English and keep the Greek original.
