• A.G. Leventis Troodos Botanic Garden: Botanic garden opened in 2010 in the old Amiantos asbestos mine at about 1,400 m, with sections for endemic plants, riverine vegetation and aromatic plants. Free; weekday mornings all year plus weekend hours in season.
• Troodos Geopark Visitor Centre: Interactive centre in the old Amiantos asbestos mine covering the geology of the Troodos mountains, the area's mining history and local heritage, with an educational yard and viewpoint; open 09:00–16:00, closed Mondays (check before going).
• Troodos Visitor Centre: Environmental centre beside Troodos Square with displays on the area's geology, habitats and wildlife, including a geological garden; listed as open daily 10:00–16:00 (tel. +357 25420144).

• Troodos Hotel, Troodos Square: Hotel at Troodos Square with views of the forest and the square, and free parking.
• Jubilee Hotel, Troodos: Hotel in Troodos on the foothills of Mount Olympos, with garden views and traditional wrought-iron beds.
• Forest Park Hotel, Pano Platres: Large hotel set in the pine forest of Pano Platres, with a heated pool, sauna and restaurant.

כדאי לדעת

• The trail ends on the Karvounas–Amiantos road about 1.4 km from Amiantos; the last 300 m follow a dirt road used by local farmers.
• The Botanic Garden and Geopark Visitor Centre are both inside the old asbestos mine, close to the end of the trail.

• Carry at least 1.5 litres of water per person and a hat; there is little shade on many Cyprus trails from May to October.
• Start early in summer and avoid the hottest hours (12:00–16:00).
• Wear proper walking shoes: paths are often stony and steep in places.
