Troodos 2 – Psilo Dentro & Caledonia Falls

• Makria Kontarka viewpoint: Viewpoint on the Persephone trail, reached by a detour about 3 km from Troodos Square, looking over the Limassol wine villages.
• Troodos Geopark Visitor Centre: Opened in 2015 by the abandoned asbestos mine on the Karvounas–Troodos road, next to the Troodos Botanic Garden, with interactive geology displays and a seismology corner. Tue–Sat 09:00–16:00.
• Caledonia Falls trail: About 3 km hiking trail between the Platres–Troodos road and Psilo Dentro; it crosses the stream, so water-resistant shoes help.

• Troodos Hotel, Troodos Square: 48-room hotel on Troodos Square itself, so the loop starts at the door; restaurant, coffee shop and free parking.
• Jubilee Hotel, Troodos: Hotel within walking distance of Troodos Square on the foothills of Mount Olympus, with restaurant, bar and free parking.
• Edelweiss Hotel, Platres: Hotel in Platres about 2 km from the Caledonia Falls.

כדאי לדעת

• Psilo Dentro is the lowest point of the Troodos 2 loop and the official route suggests a break there before the long climb back; the waterfall is signposted.
